The 2026 A Tail to Remember Dinner & Auction for the Animals was AMAZING!

With puppies and kittens as the stars of the evening, we were reminded exactly why we gather each year — to change and save lives. And thanks to you, we did just that.

Because of your generosity, we raised just over $214,000 to support the animals who depend on us.

Our Fuel the Mission appeal alone generated a record-breaking $143,000, providing critical resources for the animals in our care and for the pets and people throughout our community.

To everyone who attended, sponsored, bid, raised a paddle, or supported from afar — thank you. If you were unable to join us, we invite you to watch the very special video shared that evening. It captures what makes our work different — our unwavering commitment to each animal’s individual journey. At WCGHS, every pet has a story, a history, and a personality of their own. We don’t just provide shelter — we make a lifetime commitment.

For us, it’s personal.
