Pet Surrender
Due to changing circumstances in a family or individual’s life, pet owners may be faced with the difficult decision to re-home their pet. At WCGHS, we are here to help, when we can. Due to limited kennel space in our shelter, surrenders are taken by appointment only, and only if space is available. Please do not bring a pet to the shelter that has not been pre-approved.
How to Surrender a Pet
We have a simple 2 step surrender application process.
- Fill out a Surrender Questionnaire.
- Schedule an in-person interview with you and your pet.
If approved, and space is available, we will take your pet. If space is not available, your pet will be placed on a waiting list.
A $50 surrender fee is applicable.
